Second Season Sypnopsis

The second season continues from where Volume Two - "Generations" - began, with Hiro Nakamura in feudal Japan. The season explores the events of the heroes' lives four months after the events at Kirby Plaza: Claire Bennet and her family have gone into hiding in California; A divorced Matt Parkman has adopted a troubled Molly Walker; Mohinder Suresh is working with Noah Bennet to infiltrate the "Company" and receive funds to cure the disease that killed Mohinder's sister, Shanti. Peter Petrelli and a bearded Nathan Petrelli are alive. Peter, handcuffed to the inside of a shipping container and suffering from amnesia, is found by a group of criminals in Cork, Ireland. Nathan deals with depression and alcoholism, while Angela Petrelli and Kaito Nakamura have been threatened with impending death by someone unknown. In an interview given to the G4 Network on Attack of the Show, it was revealed that the second season will focus on an older generation of Heroes. It was also noted that the theme for this season would not be normal people doing extraordinary things but extraordinary people doing normal things. Many of the Heroes must now return to their normal lives and blend in with the rest of the human population

Plot: "In recent days, a seemingly random group of individuals has emerged with what can only be described as “special” abilities. Although unaware of it now, these individuals will not only save the world, but change it forever. This transformation from ordinary to extraordinary will not occur overnight. Every story has a beginning. Volume one of their epic tale begins here…"With a total eclipse making its way across the globe, a professor, Mohinder Suresh, learns of his father's death. Upon hearing the news, Mohinder travels to New York where he begins to uncover a secret theory involving eight individuals, all different ages and all from different backgrounds, who discover that they each have been granted unique super powers. A young male nurse tries to convince his brother that he can fly; a struggling, single mother discovers she can be in two places at once; a high school cheerleader tests her indestructibility; a drug-addicted artist paints events before they happen; and a Japanese man begins to develop his ability to stop time. Though all these heroes live in different parts of the globe and have unique abilities, they all have one thing in common -- their destiny is to save the world.
